Each voltage detector in theseries detects a particular fixed voltage rangingfrom 0.9V to 5.0V. The voltage detectors consist ofa high-precision and low power consumptionstandard voltage source as well as a comparator,hysteresis circuit, and an output driver (CMOSinverter or NMOS open drain). CMOS technologyensures low power consumption.Although designed primarily as fixed voltagedetectors, these devices can be used with externalcomponents to detect user specified thresholdvoltages.
